Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, profession, and optionally your profile picture and social links.

Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the platform — pages visited, features used, events browsed, and content you post or engage with.

Device information: We may collect browser type, operating system, IP address, and other technical identifiers to improve performance and security.

Payment information: We do not store full payment card details. All payment processing is handled by our authorised payment partners.

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve IV Universe
• Personalise your experience and content recommendations
• Process transactions and send related receipts
• Send you platform notifications, updates, and announcements
• Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations under applicable Indian law

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, payments, analytics), under strict confidentiality agreements.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of IV Universe, its users, or the public.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@ivuniverse.com. Some data may be retained for legal compliance purposes.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
• Request erasure of your personal data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf

We use session cookies to maintain your login state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but this may affect platform functionality.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

IV Universe is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us their data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the platform or by email. Continued use of IV Universe after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

You can download a copy of all personal data we hold about you at any time from Settings → Privacy → Download My Data. The export is provided as a JSON file and covers your profile, subscriptions, interests, linked aliases, and consent records.

To permanently delete your account and erase your personal data, go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. We immediately anonymise your identifying information. Some records may be retained for legal and accounting obligations (GST, IT Act) as described in Section 4.

In accordance with the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, a Grievance Officer has been appointed to address data-related concerns.
